Ludo Miklosko HAS to purchase tickets for Chelsea Game
Not one to normally cut and paste other stories but a piece posted on Kumb describes how Ludo is over in the UK and touring around PL grounds in his role as a mentor to young Czech players.

In the time here he has spent a week watching the MANU first team train, been given tickets by Arsenal and Tottenham (a whole box by Arsenal) and when approaching West ham for 2 tickets for the Chelsea Game has been told he has to pay for them. This was on top of having to pay for a stadium tour on Wednesday.

As usual Ludo has not made a complaint, its just him making the comment about how he got his tickets.

If ever there was a simple example of how this club is being mis managed and not embracing our history then this is it.

Alienating the fans, you have succeeded.

Alienating the legends of this club? Why?

The Tony Carr incident comes to mind now and its obvious the board are providing clear directions on what the priority is to the employees.

I know its another board knocking story, but they are generating these stories daily through their actions.

Cut and paste below from Kumb:
____________________________________

West Ham legend Ludek Miklosko revealed tonight how he has been asked to pay for his own tickets to see this weekend's Premier League clash with Chelsea.

The former goalkeeper, who made more than 300 appearances for West Ham between 1990 and 1998 was speaking to fans at an event in Hornchurch this evening.

Miklosko, who having retired later returned to West Ham as a goalkeeping coach, explained how he is back in the UK on a temporary basis as mentor for a group of young Czech players.

Having recently spent a week at Manchester United, where he and his party were allowed to watch the first team train throughout, 'Ludo' was then given complimentary tickets by both Arsenal and Tottenham for his entire party - plus a private box by the Gunners.

However when he approached West Ham to arrange tickets for this weekend's derby with Chelsea, Miklosko was told that he would have to pay the full price - around £70 per ticket - for all nine members of his party.

He also revealed that the club had already charged him, in full, for a stadium tour on Wednesday.

Despite his obvious disappointment, Miklosko, who was joined on stage at the event by former players such as Tony Gale, Julian Dicks and John Moncur refused to criticise the club when asked for his thoughts on the matter.

Many fans, however, are rather less reluctant to make their opinion known - and some have already taken to social media in order to express their disappointment at the club's apparent lack of goodwill towards a player who continues to be held in such high regard by the supporters.

Then why did Arsenal, Tottenham, Man U provide a different experience?

Surely he would have gone through the same company and explained the situation?

Our fucking penny-pinching measly cunt wanker board have reached such astonishing levels of cheapness that situations such as this are practically unsurprising to me now.

Please fucking sell the club - or snuff it.

I couldn't fucking care less of which option.

Re: Ludo Miklosko HAS to purchase tickets for Chelsea Game
He was in Manchester, and was given full access of the training facilities at Carrington, it was at Carrington he was given tickets to Arsenal Tottenham and Manchester United, he had personally contacted arsenal and tottenham telling them he was going to look at u23 players, when he was given VIP treatment

I no for a fact because my brother in law took the actual booking for West Ham tickets... not once did it come over it was Ludo.

I never defend the club for anything

But this is a complete non story, as many a player has got freebies at the OS..many lesser than Ludo

With the knowledge of the situation and the club personnel directly aware, it must be relatively easy to fix and turn this around?

Have they corrected the issue and made contact?

Also, how do ex club players normally make contact. Be a great article to say that Ludo was there, like many other ex player appearances.

Its an opportunity, but as usual its poor execution.

Not attacking your brother in law, where is the culture in the club to proactively rectify this?

Or do we have to raise everything into social media to bring it to peoples attention?

Is the culture at the club one where an employee who did not know, has the power to remediate and can proactively escalate?

If he can't, then its an even bigger issue than 2 free tickets for an ex player.

Your brother in law did nothing wrong, he did not know.

But he does now.

It wasn’t even Ludo who made the booking per se..it was another member of his party, in a company name, and paid with a company credit card...

Brady knew yesterday it was for Ludo, and all i no as of yesterday a credit was made on the credit card, so no charge was made on the tickets.

And they “apparently” are trying to contact Ludo..

When imget more info, I’ll post it on here

Thanks for the update club should get on twitter and explain this and say they were not aware.

Proactively manage it if there is a simple explanation.

The silence is the issue now.

Re: Ludo Miklosko HAS to purchase tickets for Chelsea Game
This is the board that tried desperately to not give season-ticket holders the 25% discount that we were entitled to a few years back when they took over.

I remember that fat-titted, nasty, air-head bitch saying that a 25% discount would have a massive impact on our summer spending as a way to try and get themselves out of the entitlement.

This "lost" sum would've amounted to something like just over £1m. If this sum of money would seriously damage our transfer activity, even now, then we may as well fucking pack it in and fold as a football club as we'll never go anywhere.

Wealthy footballer has to pay £70 for a ticket shocker!

They’ll be using foodbanks next. Someone get Corbyn to write a letter.

You and I have to pay full price for a ticket and I’d guess Ludo has a few more quid than you and I.

Re: Ludo Miklosko HAS to purchase tickets for Chelsea Game
And i bet there will even be photos or an interview with Ludo on the OS on the day..

I doubt the club will try to rectify something which basically a non story starter...

Re: Ludo Miklosko HAS to purchase tickets for Chelsea Game
You’d imagine the club has staff whose job includes dealing with these sort of requests from groups etc for access to training, games, tours etc
And ideally those people would know who they were dealing with.
I suspect Ludo may not have revealed clearly who he was ... but given the others gave free access he must have made some sort of pitch about it being for young players.
Maybe people at Man U, Spurs and Arsenal know more about former West Ham keepers than our staff.

We DO have a situation where we have no people in senior positions who have the slightest clue about football so it’s entirely possible
